Thanks. That's (the spirit) also one of those things I missed when we lived in another country. Our holidays there were fun too but somehow holidays here have a much different flavor or degree of fun. Maybe because everyone seems to know everybody else.

Gotta tell you, my first reaction was WOW! Your blog now does look very pretty. It's so much more stylish than before. Hmm...it sounds amusing, your neighbors trying to light firecrackers in the rain. That's the spirit, I guess. It makes me feel nostalgic.
