My Friday Fill-Ins

And...here we go!

1. Salsa and chips.
2. You got me a catsup and you've even got mustard.
3. By the time I get home I would call you.
4. Buying good food is what I look forward to most when grocery shopping.
5. And I was dreaming that I'm on a nice looking beach in the Caribbean.
6. Sunshine in spring...is there anything else better?!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to a delicious dinner, tomorrow my plans include going to garage sales and Sunday, I want to go to church and cook a delicious lunch afterward!

The Firm

Tuesday Couch Potatoes' theme for today is "from a book" - movies that are based on books.

The first movie that came to mind with this theme is "The Firm". The Firm is a 1993 movie based on the best selling novel of the same title by John Grisham. It tells the story of a young lawyer (played by Tom Cruise in the movie) whose life suddenly takes an upheaval when he joined a law firm owned by the mob. He was caught in a web, and it was up to him to outsmart the firm and in the process, get out of the mess he had managed to get himself into. The Firm is a fast-paced, smart, and very suspenseful thriller that will entertain you to no end. The writing and the performances of the actors are very good too.

The Firm was the first book I read by John Grisham (and I read it during it's first release) and it made me a big fan of him. It was so good! Very suspenseful and truly entertaining that it would keep you riveted to the pages. The movie comes close to being as good as the book.
